Working with a group of peers, our objective was to design and prototype a mounting device that a solar panel could attach to in order to be manually adjusted to maximize solar power over the course of a year. The device was intended for the rooftop of a school house in an area lacking both educational funds and consistent access to electricity. 

After researching solar trends in the chosen location of Pernia, India, as well as angular positioning of the solar panel in order to maximize power, we implemented CAD and CAM software in order to design a working device. We then created a small-scale prototype of the device using 3D printing and CNC machining.
